We found one, the InSpirit Designs robe in S/M, so this list is short. Below it are licensed red-cloud alternatives, sizing tips and the accessories that finish an Itachi look. Why this list is short

When we checked in October 2026, we found only one licensed adult Akatsuki cloak in stock on Amazon: the InSpirit Designs robe in S/M. The L/XL size of the same robe was unavailable. Searches for Rubie's, Disguise and ABYstyle Akatsuki cloaks found no adult cloak on Amazon. Unlicensed or generic cloaks are not included. Most we found were plain black hooded robes with no red clouds, so they are not really Akatsuki cloaks. We will add more licensed cloaks when they come back in stock.

Akatsuki cloak sizing tips

  • Check the size first. The InSpirit robe comes in S/M and L/XL only. This link is S/M. If you need L/XL, check the size menu on the listing to see if it is back.
  • Size up if you are unsure. The cloak is meant to look loose and long. A size too big looks fine, but a size too small looks wrong.
  • Plan your layers. If you will wear it over a hoodie or jacket at a convention or on Halloween night, size up.
  • Check the length. In the anime the cloak falls well below the knee. If you are tall, a cloak that fits your chest may still look short.
  • Kigurumi sizing is different. Bioworld's red-cloud kigurumi uses its own unisex chart, and some reviewers say it runs large, so check the size chart on that listing.

Akatsuki cloak FAQ

Which Akatsuki cloak is officially licensed?

Of the adult cloaks we found in stock on Amazon, only the InSpirit Designs robe says it is officially licensed. The kigurumi (Bioworld) and hooded throw (Franco) are licensed red-cloud gear, not cloaks.

What do I need for an Itachi cosplay?

Start with the cloak, the anti-Leaf (scratched) headband and Itachi's red signet ring. Many cosplayers add dark nail polish and a wig, but we have not listed those.

Is there a cheap Akatsuki cloak?

We did not find a budget red-cloud cloak on Amazon with a clear maker or license. Plain black hooded cloaks are cheap, but they are not Akatsuki cloaks, so we left them out.
