Marvel and DC collectible gifts

Who each pick is for

Short notes on who each gift suits and what to check on the listing before you buy.

Funko Pop! Deadpool (Deadpool & Wolverine). For a Marvel movie fan or anyone who collects Pops. Check whether they collect boxed; most Pop fans keep the box.

Marvel Legends Wolverine (X-Men comics). For X-Men fans who collect the 6-inch Marvel Legends line. Check the version name on the listing so you do not repeat one they own.

DC Multiverse Batman (The Batman) Deluxe. For fans of the Robert Pattinson film and McFarlane 7-inch collectors. Check the listing for the included accessories and stand.

DC Multiverse Batman (The New 52). For comic readers who prefer the New 52 look. It has a wired cape for posing; one buyer notes it runs slightly smaller than other McFarlane figures.

Spider-Man Web Heroes poster. For a younger Spider-Man fan's room, with Peter, Miles and Gwen. Standard 22.375 x 34 inch print; the paper is thin, so a frame or clips help.

Spider-Man Web poster (premium). For a classic comics Spider-Man fan. Premium paper, 22.375 x 34 inches; pick a frame with the opening size listed.

Batman comics poster and clip bundle. For a Batman fan who wants comic panels on the wall without a frame. Snap-on rails and clips come in the bundle.

Batman & Robin Batman cowl. For adults building a Batman costume or display. It is latex, so check for allergies and stuff it with paper to reshape after shipping.

Harley Quinn Suicide Squad wig. For a Harley Quinn costume or cosplay. One size for most adults; it may need restyling out of the bag.

Deadpool costume gloves. For adults and teens finishing a Deadpool costume. Buyers say they run snug and the red may not match every suit.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day kids' mask. For kids 5 and up who want to be Spider-Man. Flexible band; check the age on the listing.

Questions

Marvel Legends or DC Multiverse: which should I buy?

Buy the line they already collect. Marvel Legends are 6-inch scale and DC Multiverse are 7-inch scale, so they look mismatched side by side.

Are these official products?

They are licensed products from Hasbro, McFarlane Toys, Funko, Trends International and Rubie's. Check the brand and the seller on the listing; some sellers mark up hard-to-find figures.

Is a poster a good gift for a collector?

Yes, if you know their wall space. See our poster sizing guide before you choose a frame.

Why no vintage or eBay picks here?

One-off eBay listings sell out fast and we could not recheck them today. See the eBay finds row on the home page for older and rarer pieces.

Animecapes is not an official shop and is not affiliated with the studios, publishers or brands named here. Buttons go to Amazon, and we may earn a commission; see the affiliate disclosure. Shopping for an anime fan? See anime gifts under $50.
